עַל הַנֶּגֶב יוֹרֵד לֵיל הַסְּתָו
וּמַצִּית כּוֹכָבִים חֶרֶשׁ חֶרֶשׁ
עֵת הָרוּחַ עוֹבֵר עַל הַסַּף
עֲנָנִים מְהַלְּכִים עַל הַדֶּרֶךְ.
כְּבָר שָׁנָה לֹא הִרְגַּשְׁנוּ כִּמְעַט
אֵיךְ עָבְרוּ הַזְּמַנִּים בִּשְׂדוֹתֵינוּ
